What is the current status on biofilm technologies in wastewater treatment? Where do we see the most successful and/or promising applications for biofilm systems and which are the limitations in Nordic countries? Which are the future applications of biofilm systems?
To answer these questions and many more, we will gather experts and practitioners from Sweden and beyond, for a two-day IWA Sweden seminar in Malmö. This seminar will cover different biofilm technologies in municipal wastewater treatment, such as the Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) and the Aerobic Granular Sludge (AGS) technologies, for which established as well as up-and-coming applications will be presented and discussed.
